Thus, Students interested in studying at one of these partner universities are recommended to study there for either the full academic year or for Spring Semester only. You will also need to request a leave of absence for Spring (). Even if you are able to do this, if you receive financial aid, studying at a partner university with overlapping dates will render you ineligible for financial aid for the following Spring Semester. If you plan to participate in Fall Semester ONLY at one of these partner universities and it causes you to miss the beginning of Spring Semester at UH Manoa, it is unlikely you will be allowed to return to UH Manoa for Spring Semester, unless you are able to arrange with your professors abroad to take your final exams early.
